EveryWeekBot

The crawler for EveryWeek, a guide to cultural events — what's on each week.

EveryWeekBot visits the public what's-on and admission pages of museums, theaters, concert halls and other cultural venues, so their events can be listed on everyweek.city with a link back to the venue's own page. We currently cover New York City and New Jersey, and expect to add other cities over time. We send visitors to venues; we do not republish ticketing or paywalled content, and we do not use the content to train models.

Request signing

Requests are signed with Web Bot Auth (RFC 9421 HTTP Message Signatures). Our public key directory: https://everyweek.city/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory

Crawl behavior

One request at a time, at least 3 seconds apart, at most 3 pages per venue per run. We obey robots.txt (RFC 9309) and Crawl-delay. Runs are infrequent — typically once a day or less per venue.
